This is a FREE Festival, so come join in the community spirit in the centre of Toodyay, complete with street entertainment and performers, artisan and heritage crafts, healthy food stalls and loads of amazing FREE fun activities and delights for all the family.
There are so many attractions at this year's festival. There is the street theatre with Moondyne Joe’s gang running amok, a moustache competition for the blokes and a cleavage competition for the “floozies’. Along with this we have a colonial village, swaggies camp, woodchip exhibition, blade shearer and a black smith – all authentic to the period.
Other attractions to top off this wonderful day of non-stop entertainment includes: A Fun Fare & Carnival; Camel and little train rides; the W.A. Circus School; the Commonwealth Clydesdale Horse Society; the Perth Volunteer Riffle and Artillery Regiment 1860 (Black powder fun club); an Antique and Collector's Fair, Toodyay Community Singers; and, Toodyay Garden Club…plus much, much more.
Everyone is encouraged to dress in pioneer costume!
